Social Rewards

Social Rewards enables you to reward your customers for following, liking, and sharing your brand’s social media profiles. This is a great way to strengthen your exposure on social media while rewarding your most loyal customers with Coins for sharing your brand. 

Pro tip: make sure you're active on social media - nobody wants to follow a ghost town.

Note: At this time, social rewards is only available for businesses that are connected with one of our supported online providers (Wix, Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce)

Set Up

The Social Rewards feature can be accessed within your Twism dashboard by clicking My Tools > Social Rewards

To set up your social rewards campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Click Get started with Social Rewards
  2. You will then see a list of actions you can create for customers to earn Coins for following, liking, and sharing your social media profile on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, and Youtube.
  3. When you’re ready, click Create next to one of the options.
  4. Enter the link or username of the corresponding social media profile for this campaign.
  5. Then, enter the amount of Coins you would like to award customers for this action.
  6. Click Create

After creating your social rewards, you can edit each action or toggle to deactivate it at any time.

  • Share on Facebook
  • Like on Facebook
  • Follow on Instagram
  • Follow on Twitter
  • Share on Twitter
  • Subscribe on Youtube
  • Follow on TikTok
  • Follow on Pinterest.

Performance Tracking

While viewing the list of your social reward campaign(s) in your Twism dashboard, next to each social reward action, you’ll see the number of users that have been rewarded Coins for fulfilling this action.

Furthermore, you can view each time a customer completes a social reward action by going to Business Metrics > Activity > Customer Activity > Select the Social rewards filter. You can also view when these actions were completed and data graphs for better understanding of your campaigns performance.

Customer Perspective

Once you have activated at least one social reward action, the welcome screen of your Loyalty Widget will update with a new card entitled “Share on your social media page and earn”. When a customer is signed into the widget, there will be a new button for Social rewards where they can then view the different ways to earn Coins based on the actions you have set.


They will simply click on the action button, which will open a new pop-up window to the corresponding social media page to complete the action.

Coins will then be automatically issued to the customer’s balance and a corresponding record will appear in their My Transactions section of the widget.

Disclaimer: At this time, Twism does not track if the customer has completed the action, and will reward Coins to the customers upon clicking the action button to open the pop-up window.
