The Influenced Sales tab, found under Reports & Revenue, shows an estimate of the sales Twism has brought to your business, based on purchases connected to your Twism members.
What you’ll see
Influenced Sales is the main metric at the top of the tab. It’s the estimated total sales from purchases connected to Twism members.
Influenced Transactions is the number of purchases that make up that total.
How Influenced Sales are calculated
How we calculate each purchase depends on how the member paid:
- Paid with a linked card: When a member pays with a card they’ve linked to Twism, we see the exact amount they spent and count it as is.
- Redeemed an offer without a linked card: When a member redeems one of your offers without paying on a linked card, we estimate how much they likely spent. If other members paid for that same offer with a linked card, we use the average of those purchases. Otherwise, we use the price you set, the price stated on the offer, or an AI estimate based on the offer and typical market prices. For example, for a buy-one-get-one coffee, we’d use roughly the average price of a coffee.
To see which method was used for a specific offer, hover over it in the table.
Where these sales came from
This section gives you a high-level breakdown of your total transactions and Influenced Sales by how members engaged with your business: paying with Coins, earning Coins back, or using an offer.
Influenced purchases
At the bottom of the tab, you’ll find a full feed of every influenced purchase we’ve tracked. You can filter the list by type and by date range to focus on what matters most to you.
Good to know
Because some purchases are estimated, Influenced Sales is best treated as an approximation of Twism’s impact rather than an exact revenue figure.
