Expiring Coins are part of Twism's Loyalty Rewards system designed to keep the program active and rewarding for our users. Coins received as rewards or claimed as free offerings from a merchant will expire 90 days after they have been received.

Before expiration, you can use these Coins as value to receive discounts while shopping with the corresponding merchant.

Upon expiration, these Coins become unusable and are no longer eligible for redemption or conversion.

But don't worry, you can track your Coins’ expiration from your Twism Wallet so you don't miss any opportunities to save! You will be notified of Coins expiring soon, and can track those that will expire within the next 30 days.

Please note that any purchased Coins including Gifts, Coins bought with or without a bonus, or part of a Coin Deal will NOT expire.

Paying with or sending expiring Coins

Whenever you have expiring Coins with a merchant and would like to pay with Coins, Twism will ensure to prioritize using those Coins that will expire first. The same behavior applies if you are sending Coins to a friend.

For example, let’s say you hold a total of 10 Coins from Joe’s Coffee in your wallet, but 4 of these Coins will expire in the next 24 hours. When you proceed to pay with Coins at Joe’s Coffee, Twism will ensure to pull from these 4 expiring Coins first before reaching for the remaining 6 in your wallet.

Tracking Expiring Coins

To view Expiring Coins, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Twism app and tap on Wallet Details below your Total Balance
  2. Tap on the arrow “>” next to your Total Balance
  3. Tap Expiring Coins
